    We are mixing things up a little this time. Learn 2 different art techniques in one day with this fall themed string art, wood burn decor piece class.
    Students need to bring ONLY a hammer, preferably a small size. ALL other materials and instructions provided.
    Fee $40.00 Member and non members. Maximum of 6 students, minimum of two to hold the class. If you are interested, please sign up. Even if you are waitlisted, it gives us an indication of future demand for this class.

    The photo shown is a sample. Students will make a larger piece and will get a choice of ‘hello pumpkin’ or ‘hello fall’.

    And of course, a mask must be worn at all times upon entry, as per Bodgery (and Dane County) policy.

The fee for members is $20. This includes your member discount. This is a MEMBERS ONLY class.

    Maximum class size is 6.

It is an excellent reference book on how to perform the many operations capable of being performed on the mill. This class will be considered to be approval for the BASIC use of the milling machine. The fee for members is $20. Your member discount has already been applied.

    An intro to a basic understanding of working with solid lumber, primarily with machines.

    • rough and finish mill—the difference between and the need for both
    • machinery training—jointer, planer, tablesaws, drum and random orbital sanders; probably bandsaw and routers
    • we’ll build mitered spline boxes, and have opportunity to discuss other joinery techniques, and why those have been chosen. I’ll provide lumber for practice on the machines as well as the stock for the first box, and the finish material.
    Note: The workshop will be closed to all other members during class to eliminate noise distractions.
    Class is limited to 4 participants, but also has a minimum of 2. Bodgery members have priority thru September, then any available spaces are open to non-members.

    The Fee is $210 non-members, Bodgery members $189 (a 10% discount). For all there is also a $40 materials fee.
